Chantilly Racecourse

It was used as the venue for the racecourse scene in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill, in which racehorses owned by villainous industrialist Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) competed.

I'm pretty sure there was a race at ascot, whereas chantilly was the venue for the bloodstock sale - if I've got the right film, it's the one where john steed was supposedly a trainer or bloodstock agent, the whole thing was completely ridiculous

Where Bond raced Zorin was Piste D'Avilly, near Chantilly, Ascot was where the actoin happened near the start of the film

It must have been Chantilly aswell when Zorin is watching his horses gallop and General Gogol confronts him
