Me when maybe five- ish...I was scared to death of Mongooses and Crocodiles.
A bit later i was terrified of guillotines (as per "The French Revolution").
I used to kneel on the stairs, and imagine I was going to have my head chopped off.

cybermen, I had one of the worst nightmares of my young life after their first appearance on dr who 
I don't remember. I can remember having my first nightmare as a child, I'd just watched Indiana Jones (where the bar was set on fire) and woke up in the night thinking I was burning to death!
