Gingers discrimination - on LBC - James O'Brien

No different to racism.

I think anti-gingerism started when the Vikings invaded Northern England, raping and pillaging, then some women had babies with ginger hair and were discriminated against by the majority brunettes.

Makes some kids life a misery.

My son is ginger haired , if you stand out in any way there are always people who will cruelly pick on  you.

My lad is a strapping 6 footer now , so has no hassle , I have no doubt he will have had comments when he was at school , but he keeps his thoughts to himself.

My best mate ,and my son's godfather made several flippant comments on the topic , clearly not seeing the issue.
I told him in no uncertain terms  that our friendship was over if I heard one more .....he apologised and has not.

No doubt gingers are picked on when they're young but it's a million miles away from what the overweight and short have to put up with all through their life.

Problem is that in our enlightened, PC times, it somehow became acceptable for tv comics and DJs to make fun of red-heads.

Idiot parents making a fuss.
