Just spent half an hour instead of five minutes trying to put a bet on. The buttons wouldn't work for me. Don't know if it was because I'm using Firefox or because i'm using XP? Can't even find the forum on new site. Using an old link.
The message about the final switch over says the old site must be shut down because it could interfere with the new site? Can't the gurus just make a separate site called old betfair with its own market.

Have kept having the new site chucked at me, and decided to stay with it now, if this is the way forward.
I don't place bets from the site, so it doesn't make any difference to me (at least as far as I can see)!
The forum is now just one click so that is fine.
The only thing that's been bothering me is how slowly my typed messages go in! Typically there is a delay of about two seconds before it catches up. Similarly there is a delay when posting that could lead to multiple posts if not patient.
I'm wondering if this is a site problem, or something at my end!
Have any of you guys got a similar problem?

i'm finding it OK ,could be better - not quite as good as the old site for placing /laying bets .
needs some fine tuning ,but it will be another 2 years i bet before it's as good as the old in functionability.
Colours are still garish ,but then i don't expect an 18 year old gambler to have the same palate as me.

interstingly ,a lot of the old problems that were eventually fixed on the old site are now with this one - it's like they've done a system restore to 2004 and are starting again

i use to be able to place the cursor over the update button and keep my finger on the return button and prices would update super fast, i guess they have disabled this function to save on data multiple data request, it was handy to have if i wasn't using BetAngel, now the updating of prices seems to take ages to perform, not good.
