Arghhhhh the geeks have done it again ....
I play the UK Lottery & Euromillions on line - been doing for ages ....OK I know it's mug punting but just a bit of fun.
They've totally changed the site and now for some reason I can't add funds to my account ....
Anybody else having the same problem ?

I play online as well but fund it monthly so haven't tried yet.
If it is difficult to use I'll probably just give it a miss.

They've added 10 more numbers increasing the odds of winning by 31 million, but thrown in the sweetener of getting a free ticket if you get 2 numbers, who plays to get a free ticketLaugh

atm they have 50 raffle winners winning £20k so £1 mil pot, new raffle will have one £1 mil winner plus 20 £20k winners, so although they've increased raffle prize money by 400k, it will produce 29 less winners of a substantial sum there. I only play when it's a rollover (2.3 million is not good enough for meGrin) but partly because they're are 50 raffle winners, less attractive now, especially as it's now likely, which is what camelot are anticipating, that the tripled ave jackpot rolled over 2/3/4/5/6+ times will increase lottery ticket sales much more than is being sold now decreasing odds of winning one of the now 29 less raffle tickets. It's a bit patronising and insulting to people's intelligence when the new lotto is heavily  promoted off of the back of "producing more weekly winners" slogans called "enhancements", when it stands to reason if 2 numbers now make you a winner, most winners will be winning peanuts, only now they'll be much more of them.

I do the Euro lottery when it hits 100 million. My mate at work and I say "It's not enough" until it reaches that point.

£855 for 5, thank f00k i never had a go at this lark.

Camelot have more than recouped all the alledged back handers, and kept most of the custom, fair play to them.

Never do the lottery. It is one of the biggest con, scam, fiddling pieces of profiteering, thieving crap ever foisted on the ignorant, innumerate public of the country.
Every time it looks like making less than the stupid amounts of ridiculous profit it always has, the parasitic greed mongers who run it come up with some sort of ruse to squeeze yet more money for themselves from those who can't afford it but are too uneducated and advertised to, to know.

Absolutely.
It's a discretionary tax so best let others contribute since we can't ban it.

I don't know why people are complaining about the additional numbers coming in. Am I the only one who realises that you now have even more chance of winning as you have more numbers to choose from? I often feel I don't win as I am restricted in what numbers I choose - now I will have more freedom to get the right ones.

That's how I get such terrific value when playing golf. Twice as many shots as everyone else for the same money/

Should make it 1 to 1000 and give us a real chance of winning. Wink

59 numbers will be the end of it.

Everyone will just play Euro millions instead.

God forbid, the pools might make a comeback.
