people are dying of Boredom.

People eat too spicy food, gamble to the limit. Join up with armies overseas. The just can't sit on their hands. If anybody tries to do nothing he/she is hounded by the public. All the unemployed are lambasted day and night for having the lowest carbon foot print on the planet.
The Calvinist work ethic is the last barrier that will fall. Everyone is plugged into tv or pc games. They are so bloody bored.
I am currently exploring the last frontier... twelve hours of sleep a day.
