pimms is a great drink if you're at the races - stronger than beer, not as strong as spirits and makes a nice long drink... can't beat it on a hot sunny day

blackestnight....not having a go but how do you define what is "borderline?
Is that your own assessment or from a doctor etc? Is it based on the fact that you do enjoy a drink, but can easily go without it? If it is, then I wouldn't call it "borderline" as you are in control. Hang on, just got to get another glass....  |

What's the point in shelling out for expensive spirits, and adulterating them with Water, Orange, Dry Ginger, Coke, Blackcurrant, Lime.....etc? If you are going to do that, might just as well have the cheapest spirits you can find............. |

Five pints at an average ABV is eleven units.
Another two cans, at the same four percent, is + four units. So that is fifteen units per day, unless you are on Stella and high ABV cans! "Men should not regularly drink more than 3-4 units of alcohol a day." I'm not lecturing as I've grown up with the stuff. As a teenager there wasn't much to do, so the pub was the place of choice. I was so regular that, on a Sunday lunch and evening, my pint was on the bar when I went in! |
