Why don't we just have a straightforward referendum to end the license fee or continue with it...in a true Democracy, it would be well worth having a referendum on this question as the British people have been paying this fee for quite a long time now, with no say in the matter if they want to own a TV.

All these actors, directors, writers, presenters...let them swim against the breaking waves of Democracy.

How would you vote?

Keep license fee -- KEEP.

Abolish fee --  ABOLISH.

---------------

ABOLISH for me.........I'm an Abolitionist....

Keep. If I watch a programme, and I watch very few, I don't want it interrupted by adverts.

Have you contemplated getting off your fat @rse and doing something else when the ads on, or do you just sit there like a comatosed beached whale? Paying for something you rarely use, is something that well off people tend to do, and that is certainly not your social standing......

Is that right joe? Go on get all that pent up anger off your chest.
How much is the licence fee, £146, hardly a huge sum is it.
BTW it's the fact that the programme is constantly getting interrupted that puts me off viewing but all to our own.
No doubt you pick up your knitting during the breaks you big sweetie wife. Laugh

I don't have a TV Wink, therefore don't pay the licence fee, anyone one who does, pay the fee, is , by definition, not bright enough to know  how the licence system manipulates you. Given the fact you admit to not really watching to TV and are yet happy to pay the fee, tells me you are   intellectually challenged, or GLASWEGIAN , as the more discerning Scot calls people like you..........Happy

KEEP. I dislike TV adverts (though they are bearable in non-live programmes) but I downright HATE radio adverts.
