I know the area very well, it's right near King's College hospital. For £700 pcm you could get a decent double room in a house share. Much more preferable to that I would have thought. That's like a prison cell.

Back in the 70s a bedsit in stylish Stratford was £7 a week.
Only £6 in Canning Town. |

My message to the London-centric fanboys....
For 90 quid a week LESS, you could rent a bigger place with a balcony in sunny Tenerife. But that's none of my business |

By the way sagc, I liked your comment about me being better looking than Jack Dee. I just said that to kenny mann for a laugh that i looked like him.
What do you think of my new squeeze? She's a keeper most definitely. I really like her a lot. |

Things were so bad during the summer of 1981 that I spent it sharing a £12/week bedsit in Kemp Town, Brighton, with a mate of mine.
We decided to take turns of one week each using the bed while the other slept on the bit of floor beside it. After spending the first week adapting to the floor I found the mattress on the bed impossibly uncomfortable, so the b@stard kept the bed for the whole summer. Never understood how drunks would still somehow find room to crash there some nights. Remember waking up just before 11am on the final morning of the Headingley Test with four of us listening spellbound and hungover to a tiny transistor radio as Willis tore through Australia in THAT Test match. Thirty-four years later and I can honestly say I have still never been happier than that summer in that bedsit. |

What do you think of my new squeeze? She's a keeper most definitely. I really like her a lot. Hard to tell, I've seen you in one photo with a fish, but at least 25 photos with different women. |

The dark haired one?
Looks nice. Is that 'Ellie'? or has she been passed over. |
|
By:
Yep the dark haired one, this one is a definite keeper. The other one was an old flame who I crossed paths with again. She was going out with a sugar Daddy and moved to Devon I think.
