Moeen Ali to top bat for our "luvely boys"at the crazy price of 20/1 with Ladbrokes. What makes this bet a peach is simple.Ladbrokes are the only.. cough..errm.."Bookmaker"who over place terms(1/5 first3)on this particular market.Moeen bats at number 8 currently but after his composed innings of 77 at Cardiff i can see him batting at least one place higher.Regardless of where he bats 20/1 is the bet of the summer thus far(imo). The price will not last so get on before the "magic sign" wake up..g/luck

I really rate him as a bat.  We havent seen the best of him yet and batting him at eight is a bit of a kick in the teeth.  I hope he can just bite the bullet and bide his time.

Heard one of the analysts yesterday saying 8 is a great position for him due to a number of factors. Possibly the best number 8 batsman in the history. The downside for any bet is that its more related to the other 3 players around him sticking around even if Ali plays the perfect individual innings.

I would have thought he would have been better positioned between Stokes and Buttler.  But difficult to displace either of those based on their test averages.

If he doesn't then it's worth checking out if his replacement Rashid is the same - or even longer odds and betting him.

I think you're ok for a place at least, unless something unlikely happens. Broad is a danger I suppose.
