Watched a program last night about a hoarder ,had several houses full of stuff ,mostly papers but looked like he could not throw anything out ,the guy was having to tunnel under stuff to get around his house .
Have noticed that its mostly blokes that are hoarders ,and was thinking i have a bit of that in me .
Whilst i dont collect papers ,although i never throw them out (mrs does that ) i do have a fair bit of junk around .
I did have every race programe from ,running into thousands until the mrs convinced me they were worthless and they got chucked .Really miss them tbh ,i also had several years of Racing posts and they took a long time to finally depart ,again under duress and they found several homes before eventually going to the tip.
Also have about every pair of jeans i have ever bought ,running into about 50 pairs ,have several pairs of original levi flairs as
Is this a guy thing and does anyone hoard stuff and maybe keep hold of cloths they should chuck out and feel awkward when asked to do so .Have all my old clobber out and been trying to sort it out and just cant bring myself to bin any of it ,going to bag it all up and put it somewhere ,T shirts from years ago ,maybe over hundred some never been worn ,tbh even the old tatty ones a cant let go
have cuboards full of stuff i will never use ,want to empty the lot but just cant seem to do it ,its time to move on .
Have thousands of records that need to go as well ,its endless .
Have just finished filling two suitcases with dick frances books .
Have a bookshelf full of racing books as well ,books are history imo ...it all needs to go .
have over 20 pairs of boots ,working boots ,hiking boots ect ect ,wellies ,yard boots ,dealer boots ,a never use them ,a have dozens of jackets ,and hats by the barrowload ,a hate ties but have over 50 .
Just put an old pair of trainers in the washing machine and they came up like new ,have always wore trainers till me foot pops out the bottom ,tbh a hate new trainers .
Does anyone else keep hold of stuff a bit longer than they should ?
