Jus watched em councils apparatchiks  do some good on bbc2 for they got rid of a massive dirt dump which clouded all over em council houses nearby though I do wonder where em particles of red ash or dust went when it settled all over the place in gardens and the like but the fat lad from council soon served notice and ended all dilemmas for most part as construction firm was abated this time and no mistake after six weeks or so and the mother in her kitchen was satisfied as she cradled the toddler in her arms as she only had praise for the council's effectiveness.

Anyway - putting all that aside for a mo, there was another bit concerning people of foreign extraction being raised up with induction into some sort of UK CITIZENSHIP. A man had propped up photograph of queen on mantelpiece and called em citizens (going forward) to the table of citizenship one by one and they partly forsook their old counry like Indie ot Tunis and what have you until some British form was achieved.

Yet what is it??

I cannot yet determine whether we are CITIZENS or SUBJECTS of the monarch! What are we then? It seems to me - going forward - that the British are slippery customers all round as no constitution be set in stone or even paper. Best reference I could find was the British Nationality Act of 1948 or 49 such as it is.

So what be you, friend - a CITIZEN or SUBJECT...?
