Anyone ever suffered with this and is it worth paying for shockwave therapy? Support socks don't seem to have done much good and at £30 a pair they weren't exactly cheap ones. TIA.

Hard pads supplied by the NHS, you put them in in each shoe, slipper, trainer, whatever you're wearing, and they stretch your tendons.

If you don't get it sorted sharpish, you can end up with pronation of the knee(s) which I have.

And if you leave it too long, like I did, it also affects your hip(s)

I've been using gel inserts in my shoes for some time but they don't do a lot of good

I have suffered with this in the past but thankfully the gel inner soles and calf/heel stretches which I found online seem to have done the trick.

My wife had it for a good while, but like the poster above she did some stretches she found for it online and after a few months it went away.
