Open goal for a joke fest so I'll answer constructively:

Surprisingly no. At 42/43 I was quite overweight though I thought I was fit because I did a lot of gym work. I was struggling with my knees and had x rays which showed osteoarthritis in both knees which wasn't hugely degenerated but as I said enough to be giving me quite a bit of pain.

At that time I changed things radically. I lost about three stones and started to do lots of cardio work. I got into triathlon so I was doing a lot of low impact work with swimming and biking.

I also started to look if I could take anything non medicinal which may help and I take quite a list of things now.

The result is I have much less pain in my knees to the point that I rarely have pain now and only the occasional aching (I've done a heavy weights session today and they are aching for the first time in a few weeks) and my range of movement and quality of life is much improved and I'll be 50 next time.

So my advice is look hard at what you can do and it is likely to pay dividends.

If it is only in the mornings, I'd wonder about the quality of OP's bed. If it's in a draught or if the mattress is uneven, then muscles may remain tense overnight leading to stiffness in the morning.

do you take calcium supplements - if so stop. calcium can leech into soft tissues making you stiff and give you kidney stones. It's the type of calcium they sell. take fish oils.

You have no ****g idea.

Cod liver oil.

Trust me.  It'll keep the brain active while the rest of your body disintegrates.  And it will.  But you will be able to complain about it lucidly.
