Craigs plate was an absolute shocker
Although I would like to try a Manchester scotch egg.I think Rylan is another Joey Essex. Plays the fool and knows full well what he's doing. He cooked that steak to absolute perfection. |

I'd not heard of them either, but at least they could cook a bit, unlike last week's lot who'd struggle with a cheese sandwich. |

Moorfields -- two variants on Eton Mess. I liked the captions on the people eating because it gives a sense of who is needed to run a hospital: nurses, clerks, secretaries, surgeons, pharmacists and so on.
Good to see Ade Edmondson back for the judging. Not sure if it was the lighting or her makeup but Kim appeared to be changing colour from round to round. @treble -- I think Rylan is another Joey Essex. Plays the fool and knows full well what he's doing. He cooked that steak to absolute perfection. Rylan has the best presentation which suggests to me he at least eats in fine dining restaurants. Let's face it though, he got through because Craig fell apart. It may be that Rylan's schtick is to pretend to be flustered, whereas Craig's is real. |

Hold on. I've just remembered Rylan chucked a bottle of wine vinegar into the grub on the basis he'd never heard of wine vinegar so thought it was just wine.

Day 1 of the semi-final.
Some disasters tonight, including raw pork, scrambled egg custard and not enough food at the Victorian feast. Then Tom stuck his hand into a food processor and disappeared to A&E, never to be seen again. |
