Bit harsh he worked before darts and has become the greatest darts player in history through hard work.

In fairness to the Taylor's Phil will have contributed far more in tax then his daughter will ever claim.

I didn't realise he worked before darts, for reason I presumed he didn't.

Don't like the bloke but when he was first starting playing darts in the BDO he was doing 3 jobs to support his family, working in a factory during the day and doing bar work at night. He certainly wasn't a benefits scrounger.

If you are living a life so tenuously balanced that you can only get by if your dad bails you out, probably best not to be having 4 kids by the age of 22.

Aye, Phil was a grafter. Pretty much why he seems obsessed with money now. Remember Sid Waddell telling the story in his book of calling round to Taylor's house and Phil was busy sewing his logo onto shirts to flog to punters at an exhibition.

Why should he pay out, they are adults. If he gave them money i doubt they would spend it wisely.

We all know Taylor has an unparalleled work ethic. In theory this should have transcended through to his daughters at least to some extent. But they were restricted by the bullying they received at school because of his indecent assault conviction. This is why they've turned out so messed up! So he's culpable.

Not relevant to this but I also read recently he didn't attend Sid's funeral because he was in Australia at the time. Greedy, selfish bloke.
