The new Photo product automatically tags uploaded pictures using its own artificial intelligence software.

It labelled a black couple as 'Gorillas'

It was bought to Google's attention by a New York based software developer, who was one of the people pictured in the photos involved.

Google was later criticised on social media for its racist connotations.

How can a photo app be racist???? LaughLaughLaugh

47 views in, and no luvvies have commented.

Which shows what a lot of bollocks the BBC reports of racist actually happen to be.

Suppose I might count as a luvvie.

The headline was, I guess, written humourously to draw attention and designed to make people click on it out of curiosity. The actual article doesn't contain anything suggesting the app was racist. I suppose it counts as very slightly improper journalism.

The problem I have with your constant moaning about the BBC's pro-immigration/black/whatever stance, is that you sound so similar to blacks who constantly moan that the legal system is unfair on them or that slavery need to be compensated for. If you go through life looking for reasons why life is unfair, you'll certainly find them. Just get on with it ffs.

Wesdaq's another luvvie.

Did you know that he doesn't care about the family of 12 that have gone to Syria.

He doesn't care so much that he posted on the thread, quite a few times. Laugh

I couldn't care less about cricket, golf, U.S. horse racing, darts  or greyhounds.

Guess what?

I don't post on the cricket, golf, U.S. horse racing, darts or greyhound forums.

LOL at spelling, the forum's foremost rabble rouser for stalking and hanging on to my every post!
It's very flattering.

Btw, will you be attending the march at Golders Green tomorrow?
Will you choose to show solidarity with your kinfolk?

Must be a real conflict of interest for you.
What a dilemma.

OK Miss Pedantic.

I see you feel you've lost the plot already, as you resorted to normal abuse, as others often do on the left.

I've read every one of your 8,228 posts?

I fear not.

I always said you were a fantasist.

That makes you as bad as him.

Just because your dad smacked you and it worked, doesn't make it right.

And on other threads nobody answered this:

What happens when the child gets to 6 years old and a smack on the legs doesn't work, do you hit him harder?'

And when he'es 10?

I hope R T B can pack a punch by the time his children are 16.

He may need to, to 'control' them.

I think we had this "debate" on a previous thread, nothing to add from me.

By the way, my dad never smacked me, it was always my mum  Laugh

It was always well-deserved (in my opinion) when I got a good hiding or physically punished. We all know the rules...step beyond that line and WHACK!
It's very comforting to children to know the limits of what is, and is not, acceptable.

I remember with great pleasure when my mother hit me with the chain end of the dog-lead. It was like a rite of passage from kid to young man.  Grin
