Absolutely always loved Blondie, saw them a good few times and she always rocked the place.

Tough to pick one song out of all of them but I'd go for Atomic.

Took an elevator ride with my old pal Deb in 1990.  Our eyes met briefly, we said nothing, but it was obvious to me there was an immediate and eternal connection.

We went our separate ways in the hotel lobby.  She never mentions it publicly.

It really is my favourite Kim Wilde song, Slippy. It just has an unfortunate title.

Yes, Kim is a really nice oerson from what I know of her. She loves her garedening.

How is Muttley? Is he back from the vets now. I see you posted about him being there a short while ago.

Kim Wilde and her brother Ricky rocking on the tube home after a Christmas party shindig. She still has her antlers on bless her.
The passengers were a bit sedate, I'd have grabbed hold of her and had a boogie Love

There used to be a bird in Huntingdon in the late 70s who looked like her. Her name was Ingrid, and she was quite fond of horizontal aerobics when her USAF hubby was away, so I obliged her once or twice, as you do.

Debbie Harry 70, how did that happen ?!!!  So how old was she when she was having all those hits ?

She could easily have been as big as Madonna was, she had the lot, she was the complete package.  And her group - probably the most redundant group ever. Should have gone solo and with better management she could have had lot more success than she did.  But also had a drug problem apparently.

I maybe mis-remebering (Wikipedia me up someone) but I think her boyfriend (Chris Stein, who was in the band) developed a chronic long-term illness and she basically put her career on hold to look after him.

This would have been after she released 'Rockbird' which had the rather excellent single 'Free To Fall' on it, which is worth a listen / download.

She did give it up to look after somebody in the band, I recall reading about it.
