We've had this debate before.

If you recall, I proved that they can go to a 3rd page whenever they want.

I have seen some new reports where the 3rd page only contains one or two words.

I've seen reports when somebody famous dies that run for 35 pages.

'Not enough room' is a feeble excuse.

David Burke,  37, absconded from prison recently. The BBC had no problem describing him as 'White, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and being of stocky build.'

They got that on the 2nd page with no problem.

Why bother with this stuff, Spelling, life is too short, there are better things to be concerned with....if you want to change BBC reporting policy, email them.

I've lost count of the times I've posted that I don't buy newspapers, and haven't done so for at least the 21st century.

Cryoftruth, one of the resident nutjobs on politics, had the gall to quote a Mail report yesterday, because it suited his idea of the truth. 

I asked him countless times last year 'If it prints nothing but lies, why do you read it?'

He never answered once, the moron.

I stand by my statement but there was an attempt at a joke in there. (I don't think anyone actually says 'PC gone mad' anymore.)

If the BBC say a white man is wanted for a crime - u can assume he is white.

If the beeb do not say enthicity of perpetrator, then one must assume he is black.

Yes, it's perfectly clear...black and white, you might say.

There's plenty of room for descriptions if they wanted to add to a 2 page report.

An advert has appeared on Facebook this morning.

Its a comical advert where dogs are used as ball boys for tennis players.

Venus Williams practices tennis with dogs.

What?

One of the dogs had a racket and was returning her serve?

Of course not, there was another player, it was Svetlana Kuznetsova, but as she's blonde and white, perhaps the person who made the comment couldn't see her in the bright sunlight.

Can't stand Lewis Hamilton or any other male who wears studs in his ears...he looks just like one of those bling rappers. The world would be a better place if they were all annihilated.

Woman sexually assaulted walking along an alleyway in Guildford.   

The attacker was black, in his early 20s, with black curly hair and wearing headphones. He is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and of a slim build.

Didn't hurt, did it?

That didn't last long.

8 minutes later, in Slough.

A teenage girl was sexually assaulted while a man apparently filmed the attack with a camera attached to his sunglasses and a cable leading to his bag.

The 15 year old girl was touched from behind as another man approached her.

There is no description of either man on the television news page. 

However, in the Slough and Bucks Observer...

The man who carried out the sexual assault is described as black, aged between 40 and 45, with short hair. He wore a grey cardigan. The second man was also black, 5ft 6ins, and of a similar age. He wore a grey coat style top, dark cargo bottoms, dark walking boots, with sunglasses. He was carrying a bag.

Well what do you know?

Guess which one of the above two reports has been removed, after less than a day, from the BBC television news pages.

While the other one is till there.

I read these pages every day as I don't buy newspapers. I know it's rare for stuff to be removed at all over the weekend, unless something critically urgent comes up, like a mass bombing, plane crash, death of a prominent politician, etc. And that  goes on the main news page, not the regional pages.

If you go back on this thread you'll see another case of the BBC describing a wanted criminal as black. As I posted it I joked to my wife that whoever put it on there would get the sack. As the post on that occasion also proved, it was removed within 6 hours.

Probably found out he was pink. 

Spelling - you're doing a great service exposing the leftie (tax payer funded) twats for what they are..

But as we all know, racism is only one way..

Todays BBC Manchester news

Heavily pregnant Rochdale woman held at gunpoint by MASKED burglars.

The 28 year old's 9 year old daughter was also threatened by a gang member with a knife at the home in the Turf Hill area.

The three BALACLAVA wearing burglars stole cash, jewellery and a mobile phone.

No description are given on the page.

As you'd expect, IF they were wearing balaclavas.

I looked online...as is my wont.

Lo and behold, masks, balaclavas or sacksover their heads, please yourselves, but the gunman was asian and the man with the knife was black.

And there were another 3 men outside.

As I read the BBC news daily, and I have a pretty good memory, I don't recall seeing the result of this trial on the Manchester news page last week.

Lots of budget reports on the BBC, one of which runs to over 30 pages.

Paul Williams went missing from a nutters hospital, as reported on this forum last year, but despite the fact it was a 'manhunt for a dangerous criminal' the BBC television news pages never gave a description.

Williams who was described elsewhere as a bald black man, 6ft 3 inches tall and of a large build, was arrested in December.

It took until today to decide that he should be ordered back to the nuthouse.

No rush then.

I'll give it a year, he'll be out again.

And, no doubt, you'll find a way to blame it all on the good old BB-bloody-C! 

I will if he goes on another crime spree like he supposedly did when he absconded last time. 

The police may have got him quicker if there was a description on the BBC, for those of us that don't buy newspapers.

I have no doubt that, if the police had wished for the assistance of the public, they would have issued a photograph and accurate description of the escapee and whatever they wanted the public to do in the case of a sighting.
They didn't do that, which suggests to me that they felt it safer not to involve the public in the search. Those that might need to be made aware would probably recognise the chap by his name.

Of course they would, Paul Williams is a really rare name.

There was a description of him when he escaped, I read it online. But it wasn't on the BBC news pages.

Which is what this thread is about.

You even took the piss with 'Yes it's perfectly clear, black and white you might say.' on the previous page.

All the BBC need to do is tell the truth. If the alleged criminal is black, why cant they say so if other news sites do?

And when they do, which isn't often, don't remove it after a 4 or 5 hours, but leave a similar crime om there committed by a white man for another 2 days.   

You'll notice that tobermory hasn't returned to this thread after his second attempt at 'There wasn't enough space.' which I proved wrong before, and did so again.

I'll carry on exposing the hypocrisy of the BBC, and you and your ilk can carry on moaning about it.
