Surely the least knowledgable sporting crowd in the world.

I hope it p1sses it down

p.s A pigeon landing on the court is NEVER funny.

Mostly flag-waving eejits; the sort that pitch up at Last Night At The Proms. They all applaud one another after they are told to switch their mobile phones off; they find 3 net cords in a row the funniest thing ever; along with any bird that happens to fly close to the court and interrupts play for a few seconds.
I queued one year to get into Wimbledon. A blazer-wearing eejit decided to plonk a sticker on me at the turnstiles which read, 'Congratulations. You successfully queued at Wimbledon'.
A more accurate sticker would have read: 'Congratulations on being a prize c*nt for paying inflated prices to see tennis on the outside courts, while all the celeb free-loaders get to waltz into Centre Court for free'.

I think any illegal immigrant who obtains admission should be given 10 grand in their grubby hands, put up in a 1.6 mill mansion and given UK citizenship.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova....

Where the hell do they get such names from (or should I say "From where the hell do they get these names")?

The Chinese get by with names such as Ng!

You stick -enko (or -enkova for women) on a name in Ukraianian to create a surname - like Big Cliff Lazarenko, for example.

So Pavlyuchenko (or Pavlyuchenkova for a woman) is just a  Ukraininan surname derived from the name Pavlo (Paul in English). Something like the English surname "Paulson", as in the owner of Arazi.

It really is that simple.Plain

Was swayed by Scotty Nguyen, vietnamese poker player (won world series in 1998)

Seems you are right from Wiki :

Ng (pronounced [ŋ̍]; English approximation often /ˈɪŋ/ or /ˈɛŋ/) or /ˈŋɛŋ/) is a Cantonese, Shanghainese[1] and Hakka transliteration of the Chinese surnames 吳/吴 (Pinyin transliteration for Mandarin equivalent: Wú) and 伍 (Mandarin Wǔ) meaning "five" or "troops". In Hokkien (Taiwanese) and Teochew, Ng corresponds to the surname 黃/黄 (Mandarin Huáng) meaning "yellow"; or to 阮 (Mandarin Ruǎn).

The surname is sometimes romanized as Ang, Eng, Ing and Ong in the United States and Ung in Australia. Ng is sometimes romanized as Woo or Wu even by people of Cantonese origin, such as John Woo. In Vietnam, the corresponding surname is Ngô. In Cambodia, the corresponding surname is Oeng. 吴 / 吳 (Wú) was the 10th most common Chinese surname in 2006 and was the 8th most common in 1990. In the Philippines, pronounced it as /nɑːŋ/.
