I listened to a lot of Jean Michel Jarre in the 80's but hardly any since. WOW! Just reliving some great memories on YouTube.

Yes,all his albums from the 70s and 80s are still worth listening to.

In the good old days, my mate kept telling me that the music I was blasting out on several of my Commodore 64 games was Jean Michel Jarre. The first 10 zillion times he told me I virtually took no notice until one day he gave me a tape recording of Oxygene.

At first, the only piece I liked was 'Oxygene 4' cos I recognized it from a TV programme called 'Where There's Life'. I eventually got into the whole album, followed by the likes of Equinox and Magnetic Fields.

The timing was amazing cos several months later there was a live concert of him on TV in Houston 1986.

I've not listened to his music for years and the memories of what I was doing at the time is all flooding back to me.

Yes, like a lot of his stuff. One of the albums, Rendezvous has a song called Ron's Piece, which was meant to be played in space by astronaut Ron McNair, who was on the ill fated Challenger space shuttle. Asie from his fmore famous Oxgene and Equinoxe etc, I tend to play Zoolook quite a lot.

Yes I remember that piece. It was featured on the concert in Houston 1986.

WOW! Zoolook, that brings back some crazy memories!

Rendezvous is the latest of his albums I've listened to.

I don't know whether I wore myself out with his music, or his stuff after that didn't appeal to me??? I remember feeling a bit confused at the time???

Mostly classical music for me.

I did listen to quite a bit of TD in the 80's though.
