He'll be back in the limelight soon enough and preaching the advantages of culling the lower classes.
Brand felt so embarassed by the whole affair, he spent an entire youtube video lying it was only 1 women who didnt like him/shouted at him which is contrary to other reports including the independent that many people booed or shouted at him.
If you listen to the video submitted by Howdi in his opening post. You can hear( above the rant of the women), other voices of dissent.
I would guess though, that the numbers involved were a very small minority, considering c 250,000 turned up !

'........I was there. Just out of camera. Yes that happened and we all stood and waited for it to be sorted out calmly.Which it was. Notice how calm the stewards are. Everyone was shocked but mostly bemused. Brand handled it well and went back to talking to lots of young people and "fans"! Most people were there to talk with Jeremy Corbyn for Labour Leader . Corbyn mingled for ages and it was very calm again. Brand "legged it" to get away from fans - don't blame him . He gets a "Beatles" reaction. It was a brilliantly organised, peaceful day. Brand had the least to say politically of all the speakers. He doesn't claim to be a politician just someone who has opinions and the wealth (and media power) that is needed in the modern world to cause discussion through expressing them. Ignore what he says if it annoys you and judge him on his actions. He is making positive changes to lots of peoples lives - STOP taking him sooo bloody seriously - he is a comedian on a spiritual journey. Good for him and his openness about his wrong turns and aspirations....'

Just checked the newspapers, it was October 2008.
The changeover to the new forum means it has been lost.
I'd love to have found it and seen Facts post his usual 'puerile' comment.
But there is a 2010 thread where Facts say that Brand is 'articulate'.
My learned friend Orioles (Dave) took him to task.
All must have been forgotten by then.
