Have had a sanctimonious policeman remarking on what I a watching,
these guys couldn't stop the muslim from beheading that guy in our
country, but spend any amount of time disparaging someone who watches sex sites.
About time they got their priorities right.

??

Does that mean the police have had your computer?

No but it is very intimidating as to what these guys are up to.
How the hell can they poke their noses into other peoples choice of viewing especially when a crime has not been committed.

Question 1 in the Web Safe FAQ

How do I switch on Web Safe / switch Web Safe off?
You just need to log-in to My Virgin Media - http://my.virginmedia.com - as the primary account holder.
Go to the My Apps section, and select Parental Controls with Virgin Media Web Safe.
Click on the Manage Web Safe button.
You’ll be able to choose to turn Child Safe or Virus Safe on or off.
Changes are normally implemented within 30 seconds or so, but may take up to 5 minutes to take affect.

What is the problem of understanding me and my choices as to what I view?
Are you a sanctimonious person as is the PC, he has used a pr-printed piece
using more types of accusations than are on the first pages of a dictionary.
They knew that the guy who beheaded one of our people because they had been
reading his E-MAILS and stuff, yet never took action, but someone who views his own choice
of content although no one is injured or loses their life.

Not asked for cash, epicurean, but just being upbraided by a cop who's compatriots could not stop the murdering Muslim several years ago, even though they knew of his intent through reading his E-MAILS, I complain of the choice and their easy target, namely me.

It never seems to register with some people, those priests who were telling not to sin were actually sinning in the most disgusting ways, so learn from life,
kenbo.

I'm still none the wiser. Sad

It sounds like, the police who were monitoring terrorists e-mails, have also been monitoring your internet activity? Which sounds slightly worrying to me and not something I'd be announcing on a forum.

So you were watching kiddie porn and are complaining because the police have nothing better to do?

Try this it may work if you're still having problems.

•Press Windows+X keys and select Task Manager.
•Go to the Startup tab and check if the program is added or is present with the list of programs. If yes, right click on it and select Disable.
•Restart the computer.

Check if it fixes the issue.

OVALMAN, I expect some stupidity from some people on the forum, you are the one,
I do NOT watch "kiddie porn" as you suggest, but since you seem to be an expert in such things , why have you not been interfered by cops
on your computer or are you an informer?

I don't do anything illegal on my PC.

I and others don't have a clue what your on about. If you have a PC problem then my first stop is Google, Chit Chatters are not routinely raided by Police, HTH.
By:

You have made my point, OVALMAN.
I don't do ANYTHING ILLEGAL on my computer, either
OVALMAN, much as you would wish it were so.
You have a very nasty mind which has come to the WRONG
conclusion, I believe it shows more about your thoughts
and doings, than mine.

I wish to get rid of WEB SAFE, I did not ask for the programme to invade my
surfing choices, how can this invasion take place and why are you so in favour?
You assume that because a police constable has poked his snout in then it must
be illegal, remember this, that policeman is a human being subject to the
mistakes and wrong diagnoses as ANY other human being.

Your web surfing activity is your own business bazzar and as long as you aren't doing anything illegal it is very worrying from a privacy point of view if he is poking around in your own affairs. So we might all get  greater understanding of the ramifications can you clarify how this has come about? Have you been snooped?

That's funny Kenbo. They live exactly the same distance from me and I live in the middle of nowhere. I had no idea what a debauchd place I was living in. I'll never look at the neighbours in the same light.

Eternal, at the age of 77 I can be excused as to how this came about,
I just remember being very offended at his interference in my choice of viewing,
but not to put too fine a point on it, WE ARE BEING SNOOPED UPON BY OUR POLICE.
If these police were doing just a reasonable job, then crime would be down to
an all time low, but I won't hold my breath, this particular policeman is an idiot employed in BOLTON.

Don’t panic bazzar, it’s all scam – you’ve done nothing wrong, the violation claims most likely have nothing to do with you and it’s not the police that’s behind them. Such pop-up windows are just fake warnings prompted by a pesky trojan that gets past a computer's antivirus program.

On the news earlier this week.

Trolls and scammers get hold of a photo of you from sites such as Facebook.

They then photo-shop it so it looks like you're performing a sex act with a minor.

For £7,500 they will destroy the photo, telling you that if you don't pay, they'll put it on the internet, complete with your name.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but didn't you start a thread several weeks ago talking gobbledegook about a work colleague? From memory, nobody could fathom out what you were trying to say. It was all "he said this" "so I said that". If that's the case then I'm seriously doubting your claims of being 77 years old. ConfusedConfused

KENBO, you have the right to doubt anything about anyone, but I have that same right
and I believe that you are an idiot, some people come on here to impart knowledge,
other to glean knowledge, you just come on to disparage and insult, others on here
have learned about you and some will turn off from your posts.
OVALMAN is of the same trait.
