If you get the upper hand, which isn't hard, he will tell you that he has blocked you and can't read your answers, so it's not worth posting.

Strangely, as soon as you post something that he can PROVE is wrong, he will actually 'unblock' you.

But how did he know what you posted so that he couild 'unblock' you, because he can't see it. LaughLaugh

More shrewdness from the bet welcher,
July 2013
labour majority 2015 6/4
you won't get many better 6/4 shots that are out and out certs, the snag is you have to wait 2 years. There are three reasons why the tories will never get a majority for at least another 20 years.

1) They are finished as a force north of London

2) They couldn't get a majority in 2010 when Laboour were despised, now the country has had a taste of tory politics all the polling suggests they are sick of it. They sure as hell won't get a majority in 2015.

3) The right wing media attacks on Ed Miliband have failed miserably and will continue to fail,no matter how low the sun newspaper sinks the day before the 2015 election.

Face it people, this county is no longer a conservative country, they haven't won an election since 1992,nobody except a few diehards believe in toryism anymore.

It's not a file. Laugh

Pandora is well known on here and politics for posting things that will cause a reaction, then not returning to the thread.

This was brought to most punters attention when the moron put up prices for UKIP to win seats at the General Election.

This is not mumsnet, this is a gamblers website, and when somebody sticks his or her head over the parapet with prices on an event, they should be honoured.

How would it look if an actual bookie put prices on this forum and didn't honour them?

The betting showed what a grasp dowthepandora has on reality, and before long the thread had quite a few bets on it that UKIP would get 1 or more seats, at the advertised price of 200/1.

Naturally, he had already vanished from the thread.

Aftet the election, myself and others dug back on forums to find posts by Labourites, stating that they would easily win the election.

There were plenty from what are described as 'left wingers' like cryoftruth, Comrade Karla, pandora and others.

And they were  brought back to the top of the forums so that us (I think this is the correct order) 'shaven headed, tattooed, jackboot wearing, swastika waving nazi fascists' could laugh at them. LaughLaugh

Given the FACT that Labour wer a shade of odds on for a majority in the next election, two months after the 2010 election, it was easy to laugh at.

You only need to go back 6 pages on the politics forum to find them all, which should take the literate less than 6 minutes, that excludes the like of cryoftruth, who told us all on politics that he's an Oxford Don. Laugh

Something Labour did, or didn't do, and everybody has their own ideas, saw the betting change drastically, but there seemed to be no change in policies, so they were destined to lose.

Perhaps if Labour had a go at reforming their policies instead of constantly slagging off the Tories and UKIP, while coming up with nothing new themselves for months on end, they may have swung a few more votes their way.

I may not agree with much of what he stands for but this is just the kind of shake up which politics needs. Which is probably why the fight against Corbyn has been so vicious.

There is also the far more serious matter of offering odds on the 'Number of Seats won by UKIP at the 2015 General Election', odds which a number of forumites accepted, but no payouts have yet been forthcoming on winning bets, less still any integrity to discuss payment plans.
