What I'm looking for is maybe a family type film, with a little boy or girl who misbehaves and causes distress to family, then turns everything round and is loved by everyone as maybe a bit of tearful moments

I'd question the parents, as to how a little girl can go ' missing ' for this length of time.

Don't bother trying to emphasise the rights and wrongs. She will not listen to what you say, children at that age don't, especially if her mum has already been doing this. Just try to listen to her and let her explain. It is much more important to try and understand the reason why she is doing these things. Find out how she feels when she does them. Maybe she is doing it because she is after some attention (especially if no-one notices her gone for 40 minutes), maybe she's just testing boundries. Whatever it is just try to find out the reasons and motivations for her actions and then tell your daughter and let her sort it out.
As for films, Frozen is all the rage but she may well have seen it, or Tangled or Beauty and the Beast.Anything Disney I suppose.

I agree about keeping pecking at her, I will just spend a few day's quality time with her, and getting a feel of what makes her tick. When I said she went missing for 40 mins, it was noticed quite quickly that she had popped out house, she has many friends in the same street where they play with each other in their gardens. My daughter obviously went around the various neighbours, then having to go to park which is very close to eventually find her playing with a few friends, but she knows she needs to inform her mother that she is going out to a friends. My daughter just said she has recently started misbehaving, and my daughter is finding her a tad taxing on the temples at the moment. So decided I would give her a little break from the youngest one, and leave my daughter with her bigger sister who is 8 years old. I have a good variations of films to pick from here, so should managed to get through the weekend without topping myself Kidding. I live on my own, so will be expecting to get no time to myself over the weekend, probably not have time to have a punt
