According to British Gas here
http://www.britishgas.co.uk/the-source/our-world-of-energy/energy-explained/energy-bill-journey?cid=cd_p_mythbusting_NA_ppc_p_ppc_bill-split--journey_ui_&_$ja=cgid:16909729821|tsid:67993|cid:264881421|lid:23777777448|nw:g|crid:63139106181|rnd:11905822502634981337|dvc:c|adp:1t1 Environmental and social polices add £134 to the average bill. I'm guessing that includes clean energy subsidies. For balance we could add the cost of decomissioning nuclear power stations or the perhaps £500m to restore coal sites in Scotland and Wales. |

I am in floods of tears here!
The poor b@stards only make £42.00 profit from my energy bill. Need to do something about it now..... Call now to give just three pounds and adopt a fat cat.... This can pay for vital holidays, and luxury cars, and fine dining. You will receive a signed photo of your adopted fat cat, and a free wallet to keep it in, if you become a monthly donor. Thank you..... |

With all the methane gas, ( also a greenhouse gas) we produce each year, it would make sense to build more bio digesters. You take and store the gas then use it at a time when the national grid needs it.
Every farm should have one and every water treatment plant, and recycling centre. |
