A two-year-old boy has died after he was allegedly dropped onto a tile floor, trodden on and had faeces smeared on his face during potty training.
The tot was unresponsive and despite medics working round the clock to save his life, JJ died on Monday morning.
His biological father dashed to be by the youngster's side when he died and at a press conference on Monday, James Sieger Snr described the moment as the "worst and most difficult day of my life".
JJ's aunt also spoke out, revealing how much her family loved the youngster.
Little Hames ‘JJ’ Sieger Jr died from horrific injuries that police say were inflicted on him by his mother's boyfriend.
Doctors were stunned with how many bruises the child had on him when he was brought into Davis County Hospital on Saturday morning by his mum Jasmine Bridgeman and her boyfriend Joshua Schoenenberger.
Nicole Sieger said: "He's not a statistic. He's a child who was brutalised.
"We just don't understand the brutality, the injuries, the extent of the injuries. There are no words.
"There are no words to describe what this baby went through, the pain he suffered.
"I don't think anyone can understand how it happened."
According to Layton Police in Utah, USA, the young child was purposefully dropped onto a bathroom floor and then stood on while Bridgeman and Schoenenberger were teaching him to use the toilet.
It has been reported the tot had his own faeces smeared on his face after his 23-year-old mum discovered he had soiled his nappy.
Police reports show that Schoenenberger told detectives he was then holding JJ by the waist and talking to him about potty training when the young boy urinated on him and defecated.
The report states the 34-year-old man then dropped the two-year-old boy onto the tile floor of the bathroom “from eye-level” and then stood on his stomach “out of frustration with how (he) treats his home”.
The couple the took the child to hospital, and were later arrested after staff alerted police. The couple both claimed the other was lying and had differing versions of what happened.

also has strict drinking laws, need to order food in lots of places if you want a drink ( bowl of nachos suffices ) .wont think twice about frying these 2.
