Oh for goodness sake. It's ridiculous to expect 600 odd candidates to actually agree about every single manifesto commitment. From any party. The voting public are the biggest sinners in this debate, by insisting that their MPs are both honest, and stick rigidly to manifesto pledges.

So policies he has PROMISED will not be put in place.

And people vote for these charlatans.

I can accept the 2nd part HM but if they're not honest what's the point? I like to think we are better than Italy, Pakistan and various African states

We voters make liars of them all, by wanting it both ways, and deserve to reap the whirlwind of our hypocrisy.

When William Hague met the libdims to strike a coalition deal after the last election, Hague asked the dims to strike 8 different points
(unwanted by the tories), from the tory manifesto as part of any deal.

Dims could not believe how lucky they were and alerted the press as soon as the deal was sealed.

No manifesto is honest i suppose, as the gay marraige thing was never even mentioned, until cameron came ot one day and announced it was to be fast tracked due to a matter of urgency.
