Birmingham is further east than Aberdeen - a lot of people know that
Birmingham is closer to Mecca as well.

The most easterly point in the UK is called Lowestoft Ness.
Now if it's a Ness that is definitely in Scotland

go to mull for wildlife, walking ,drinking etc, go that often know lot of people in tobermory.

Northern Scotland is always blue on the BBC weather forecast just like Manchester.
You would feel at home up there Do Wah Diddy.

Foinavon THEY GET IT ALOT WORSE THAN US WHEN THEM WINDS AND RAIN START ,I WATCH THEM WEATHER CHARTS ALOT AND I THINK IM GLAD IM NOT UP THERE IN THAT WEATHER ,

You would have to take your pac-a-mac with you, but don't bother with an umbrella as it will blow inside out as soon as you open it.
They are a tough bunch up there, not to be trifled with.
