"why does all Scotland seem to vote snp?" Well it's not quite as cut and dried as the media are making out.
Say it was, as say one poll indicated, 54% that's 54% of decided voters, but there is a large percentage, I think it was 30%, undecided. So once you do the maths it's perhaps not much more than the hard core Yes voters at the minute.
But due to first past the post, you get a sort of tipping point where seats start pouring from one side to the other, and Yes voters realistically have only one party to vote for, the anti SNP voters have three to decide from, this splits that vote and exagerates the effect.
So you may even have the majority of Scotland voting against the SNP, and the SNP get all the seats.
Democracy at its finest!

but isn't all Scotland (bar 1 or 2 seats) literally labour v snp?
so should be split seats.
but see your point just checking, I thought I saw somewhere that snp where expected to win virtually every seat

maleuk yes you probably did read that but they were pretty taking polls and then trying uniform swings, when people will probably be voting tactically. Labour previously benefited from FPTP in a similar way, the vast majority of seats with less than half the vote.
Friday will be interesting, anyway. If Ed turns around and gives the SNP influence after saying he wouldn't, IMHO he will kill his party. He'll prove his word can't be trusted, in England he'll annoy an awful lot of people, in Scotland, why would people who switched vote Labour again, if voting SNP gets you special influence? He's such a tool I can see him doing it though.
What are the odds on the Labour party getting < 100 seats in 2020?

The court heard MacKenzie threw the eggs after he became “irritated” at Mr Murphy’s failure to answer questions.
When the East Renfrewshire MP failed to answer the question "what do you have against democracy" posed by MacKenzie, the 45-year-old decided to take action.
He walked to a nearby Tesco store and bought half a dozen eggs before returning to the town's High Street.
Mackenzie then hurled his first three eggs at Mr Murphy — missing each time.
He then repositioned himself and tried again — missing from four yards' range — before approaching the MP and "physically striking him" with the eggs before making off.
The seething reptile re-positioned himself behind big jim and still missed from 4 yards .....Big Jim is nearly seven feet tall

Sean Clerkin along with fellow activists Piers Doughty-Brown (honest) and James Scott caused havoc when Jim Murphy tried to address voters. Screaming in his face and intimidating labour supporters. Nicola Sturgeon said they had nothing to do with the SNP although 1 hour later she announced that Doughty-Brown and Scott had been suspended from the party. The 3 activists had been told of Murphy's plans that day from an SNP source. Typical behaviour of the SNP and it's supporters. Mhairi Black (of I'd love to nut them fame) will be so proud of them.

Claiming Labour killed democracy as these SNP activists try to stop Labour spreading their message. Obviously don't do irony do they. Behaviour that wouldn't be out of place in Nazi Germany of the 30s.
