I wish comedians would not dabble in politics. Don't they realise that we have no interest in their views? They have become famous because they have a talent for making people laugh.

Coogan is a comedian ,writer,actor and producer. He is a very clever and articulate guy.
His profession has put him in the public eye with a wide and varied audience.
Consequently, if he has the opportunity to give his support to any cause, it will be of interest to many many people.

He rents his house, it makes him feel more working class.
