are you sure it wasn't Clare Balding?
By:
I did notice that on sports personality of the year last time when Izzard appeared Claire Balding disappeared then returned after Izzard had gone. A coincidence maybe.

Brand, Izzard and Coogan what an endorsement

To be fair, when he puts some makeup on he's more feminine than Sturgeon.
Still wouldn't though. He's no Game of War woman. Though .. Izzard as game of war woman would make a funny advert ![]() Almost as funny as Miliband saying it "it ain't gonna be like that" trying to sound street. ![]() ![]() |

Here is the reality from the ´violent scrum´:
https://www.facebook.com/supportthenational/photos/a.275513339239156.1073741829.274593342664489/298645533592603/?type=1&theater As usual Jim Murphy and his tiny bunch of card carrying Labour members were largely ignored by the Scottish public - so irrelevant have they become in Scotland - except for a small group of bams determined to outshout Smurph and his new found celebrity friend. |

lol tictacman
By:
The media are saying the protestors were shouting him down and using megaphones (I read making air raid siren noises) so Murphy etc couldn't be heard.
Most people would find this sort of thing pretty low and not good in a democracy. SNP supporters of course defend it as the SNP or it's supporters can never do any wrong, and let's face it democracy for them consists of: agreeing with the SNP. |
By:
Just Checking if you had just checked your facts - like most of the unionist media should try - you would find that the half a dozen or so bamsticks in Glasgow today claimed to be all shades of marxist socialist but not one claimed to be an SNP supporter. As even the BBC reporter found out when confronting Murphy about it.
You don´t have to be SNP to be against Murphy and what New Labour stand for these days. |
By:
Labour are Labour. 'New ' Labour (Blair) was disbanded
By:
You're all missing the point.
A man walked around the streets of Glasgow dressed in lippy, blouse and pencil skirt and didn't get the mother of all kickings. Yet Glasgow still has this rep of the hard man capital of the world????! It's gone soft, I'm telling ya. |
By:
I reckon, if someone would have held Eddie's glasses he'd have gone toe to toe with the SNP's finest.
And, in the unlikely event he was taking a beating, he could always leg it. After the first 20 yards they would never catch the fecker. |
By:
I haven't seen any labour candidates canvassing yet but if I do I shall listen to their speel and and then when they shut up I will ask them one question. "How many people died in the Iraq War?"
By:
Wow - yeh, that'll fox 'em .
Will your second question be ' how do you spell 'spiel ' ? |

Doughty-Brown of the SNP was the main protestor.
A party spokesman later said: "Mr Doughty-Brown has been placed under administrative suspension from the SNP." |

@Tip If they aint SNP (as wee Nicky claimed at first) why have they been suspended from the SNP?
By:
What I can't understand is how extreme nationalists in Scotland, often resorting to violent intimidation, are lauded by the BBC but if the BNP behaved like the SNP they would be demonised forever ?
By:
Of course.
Every time the EDL appeared, the UAF were there. Did you ever once see a report of the UAF causing trouble? Did you see the pakistani spit on the canvassing BNP man in Barking a few years ago? That bever got on the news. Tommy Robinson and just one other EDL member, were on a charity walk to Woolwich, when a bloke attacked them. Mr Robinson asked the police why the bloke wasn't being arrested. He was ignored. Mr Robinson and his mate were then arrested for walking in a muslim area. Look at the video on youtube. |
By:
^^^ seen that is rather disturbing. The UAF ARE A FOUL BUNCH
