He's a patron of Wildlife SOS. Saw him when he visited their centre. Was very funny.
By:
The centre is run by Simon Cowell (no not that one) and RG says he's "Just like David Attenborough but with Tourettes."

He's certainly gone up in my estimation, which will please him. He now stands alongside Morrissey, Brigitte and Joanna, to name a few, in my rankings.
By:
Haven't seen Simon Cowell on the box for ages. The better known Simon seems quite caring too.

As much as I love seeing heartless morons gored to death, I can’t take the risk of 1 innocent animal being hurt for fun. #banbullfighting”
So he's not so nice after all if he delights in seeing people gored to death. Which speaks volumes about the berk. |

Dr C Bulls get swords thrust into them to get a reaction and after numerous stabbings the exhausted animal is killed.
I don't like violence but I feel there is a certain karma awhen people who take part in this get gored by the bull. |

I see Pandorica is another to jump in and defend people who delight in seeing entertainers gored to death.
I'd put the bullfighters quite a few notches higher than these types. Although I find both groups quite disgusting. |
By:
I'd be perfectly happy to see copious bullfighters gored to death as they are cruel barbaric bastards and serve no meaningful purpose whatsoever as far as I am concerned.
By:
That honest Kenny, but it makes you far worse than the bullfighters.
By:
it's a difficult one Canny because the Spanish will say it's an art and a sport and is less cruel in some ways than say slaughtering animals for 'food ' - not sure if i agree on that or not - but slaughtering pigs for bacon for me has a similar connection - the animal is put to death for others enjoyment and no serious need.
I used to take the Morrissey stance of meat is murder until i realised i had to be more slightly more tolerant if i were to keep any friends or not alienate everyone at work . You then become the object of scrutiny . Why arent you vegan, bet on horse racing, wear leather shoes etc -and all good points of course - why wasn't i vegan ? so i was no better than anyone else really . Animal welfare has come a fair way through the consumer pocket rather than demanding answers - folk have also been educated and want better quality food -i don't remember ever seeing free range meat - and free range eggs are pretty common place now ,but money will always triumph - it's an uncomfortable thing we all have to live with - money is king ,even where human life is concerned - we all have a value in dollars apparantly . |
By:
Well at least that might put an end to the "sport" Dr. Will have a read of that later Coach'. Must earn some money now.

By:
Bullfighting is an obscenity that should be banned; it cannot possibly be justified on the grounds of controlling the bull population and if the bulls are to be used for human consumption there are far more humane methods of killing them. To cause an innocent animal such unimaginable pain and torment in the name of "entertainment" is disgusting, and any of the so-called "entertainers" who get harmed during such abhorrent activities deserve all they get. I'm quite happy if they die, they deserve it - nobody forces them to take part, unlike the bull who has no choice.

Spot on MrB and a curse on anyone who sees this as a sport.
As much a sport as safari hunting is. |
