I'd think that a typical market trader on one of the outdoor Birmingham markets would run rings around Miliband if it came to making money out of a small business.
Well they would to start with anyway. It depends on how quickly Miliband would pick it up. My point is, he's got no experience or knowledge about how small companies operate or he would come out with ridiculous statements like the one in the OP. |

If it was in the public sector well perhaps but Ed said the private sector. |

It wont cost private companies anything. These guaranteed jobs are going to be a 6 month temporary job which Labour gov will pay 25hr x min wage plus £500 admin costs, total cost £5.5billion. It sounds like an extension to that work scheme where people work at poundland for their benefits. All the supermarkets will love it as they will be able to slash their wages bill.
