He also said he didn't want to guarantee things that couldn't be achieved as it puts people off politcs

By:
He'll make all workers gaffers and they'll all have people working for them.
Hang on... |
By:
Does he mean that if you are an employer you'll be forced to take on youngsters. He did say "guarantee" a job.
By:
Nigel was excellent last night
By:
What employer is going to waste his time and money trying to train unemployable kids when he can get all the ready trained workers he needs from abroad?
Has Miliband got a clue about how private companies operate? He must think that private companies operate like publicly funded services. |
By:
I'd place a bet, that Miliband knows a 'street more' than you do about how private companies operate.
By:
.........entered the University of Oxford where he read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Corpus Christi College. He went on to graduate from the London School of Economics with a Master of Science in Economics........

Facts,
Natural losers like you shouldn't be betting. So I'd advise you to keep your stakes to a minimum. |
By:
If he wants to help British workers, especially the young, stop immigration completely...nothing else will be as important.
Vote U.K.I.P and end the .....madness. |
By:
For your information I make a good living from betting. You really should put a sock in it when you are clueless about what your spouting.

I'm sure that somebody makes a good living from your betting but it isn't you. |

By:
milliband only got a 2:1 in economics and a level grade b in further maths
he got a masters, but then does anybody fail them ? hardly a sparkling student given how much wealth was behind him and his dads background he then proved his ability with a leading role in gordon browns finance team ffs |
By:
Economics is not a science and philosophy and politics not be taught at Oxford...Britain needs Engineers.
By:
He should be asked how exactly he is going to guarantee jobs.
By:
I'd think that a typical market trader on one of the outdoor Birmingham markets would run rings around Miliband if it came to making money out of a small business.
Well they would to start with anyway. It depends on how quickly Miliband would pick it up. My point is, he's got no experience or knowledge about how small companies operate or he would come out with ridiculous statements like the one in the OP. |
By:
or he wouldn't come out with ridiculous statements like the one in the OP.
By:
And I suppose Cameron is an expert in this too. As well as the ability to walk on water , which Dr Tory boy and his cronies on here believe.
By:
It wasn't Cameron who made the statement of "guaranteeing" jobs.
If it was in the public sector well perhaps but Ed said the private sector. |
By:
His statement doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
Maybe if he said he'd encourage the private sector to recruit more he could have sold that but how can he guarantee anything in the private sector? |
By:
Facts you talk some chyte. You promote Labour but conveniently forget the mess that Blair and Brown got us into.
By:
No need to study now .... You will be guaranteed a job ability not important
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

By:
It wont cost private companies anything. These guaranteed jobs are going to be a 6 month temporary job which Labour gov will pay 25hr x min wage plus £500 admin costs, total cost £5.5billion. It sounds like an extension to that work scheme where people work at poundland for their benefits. All the supermarkets will love it as they will be able to slash their wages bill.
By:
Oh so it's only for 6 months..... Do I actually have to do any work or can I just sit back and wait for my pay cheques to roll in ...albeit for just 6 months

And has never worked outside the cocoon of a gilded world,he even set alight to the carpets of the labour family in Doncaster he worked with. He is clueless about life outside his world, like his brother who I have met, facts.

How easily people like Facts are sucked in by these smooth talkers.

By:
Last night showed us the real Miliband, artificial, duplicitous, full of soundbites & clueless about the way industry works. It looks like he's going to be PM though courtesy of the snp,an arrangement i'm sure we'll all come to regret.

By:
Does anybody really think Britain's brightest and best become politicians.
No, of course not. We're all on here making money on Betfair. We haven't got time for politics. |
By:
they're not that bright as they wouldn't be in a job with the paltry wages they get
