The jocks just had a vote, lost their collective bottle and said no, you can't have a fooking referendum on the issue every 5 minutes.

why not?

Report rogerthebutler April 30, 2015 1:42 PM BST
Can the English have a referendum on independence then?
Report HH Sultan Vinegar April 30, 2015 1:44 PM BST
I reckon that is what Jimmy Krankie is hoping for Roger.

if the SNP win aboove 90% of the seats in a national election another vote is inevitable.

One did notice on tr-r-rips acr-r-ros the bor-r-r-rder, that ther-r-r-re's a 'Welcome To Scotland' sign.

But on the way back, there's no 'Welcome To England' sign.

Racist bastards, the English.
Report wit-ham April 30, 2015 2:03 PM BST
no even a "please go home soon "sign ?
Report akabula April 30, 2015 2:08 PM BST
already posted this but seems to be lost in cyberspace.

Dotch whilst the opinion polls show a swing to the SNP not all are in favour of a further referendum with the most recent poll showing the majority favour the staus quo.
In the past Unionists have voted SNP because of their policies ie free Uni places for Scots, free prescriptions and a freeze on council taxes.
All policies they can deliver because we are part of The Union and receiving a generous allocation from the Barnett Formula.

In the lead up to the referendum all you saw was YES posters in windows and peep with YES badges.
You rarely saw the NO equivalent. Why? Fear!
The YES voters were very vociferous in their claims for independence but were quick to gang up on anyone advocating remaining in the Union.
Better Together gatherings were often attacked with Jim murphy singled out for special attention.
Salmond and Sturgeons legacy will not be a divided Union, thanks to the common sense of the majority, but a divided Scotland.

Cos it's fecking ridiculous, that's why.
Report Big_Issue April 30, 2015 3:08 PM BST
It's not the Okay Cokey

In, Out, Shake It All About

They had a vote, said No to independence, bottled it (or more reasonable to say realised they were better off in the Union)
Report akabula April 30, 2015 7:53 PM BST
As are England, Wales and Northern Ireland BI hence the Better Together slogan.
