A 60 stone woman, who was once 'Britain's fattest teenager' has to be lifted from her flat by a CRANE in seven hour procedure before going to hospital.
A number of roads had to be closed in the neighbourhood as firefighters worked to remove Georgia Davis, 22, from her specially-adapted flat in Aberdare, south Wales. At the height of the operation yesterday, neighbours said there were 12 fire, police and ambulance vehicles at the property. An eye-witness, who asked not to be named, told the Daily Mirror: 'It's absolute chaos FFS. There's 999 vehicles everywhere and dozens of emergency service workers. . www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3061199/Woman-dubbed-Britain-s-fattest-teenager-lifted-home-crane-emergency-services-seven-hour-operation-taken-hospital.html#ixzz3YnMAbC5N |

It seems to me that when bad stuff happens in the U.K. it invariably happens in places like Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil or somewhere in the Welsh valleys. Never once in my entire life have I had a Welsh mate or a Welsh girlfriend, it just cannot be a coincidence, wronguns the lot of 'em.

I'm going to Mid-Wales next week for a holiday.
Been going there for many years and the place is full of Brummies ... they've bought shops, holiday caravan parks, restaurants etc. Where have the Welsh gone?? |

By:
yes nothing but happiness in all those northern towns and cities filled with all those lovely muslims.
|
|
By:
I think you'll find there are plenty down south also
|

By:
B-B, in places like Peckham for example which is a 15 minute drive from me, English is a second language.

I was doing a search the other day slippy regarding the distribution of muslims throughout the UK, my area actually has one of the lowest in the UK even fewer than Cornwall. I rarely see any anyway but the stats still surprised me.

By:
Slippy I lived in London for 50 years, I read a stat recently that 1 in 4 people are indigenous white English.
London has always enjoyed the benefits of immigration over the years, the east end seeing the French Huguenots escaping the suppression of Protestantism in France in the 1680s, followed by the the Italians, the Jews, the Irish, the Asians, and more recently the whole world. just like many parts of the country it's not the immigration that's a problem it's the sheer weight of numbers, disallowing the necessary time for assimilation. That's not to say the above had no trouble assimilating or were not ghettoised, But now in places the English are being ghettoised. I for instance now have to travel to Brixton (passport in hand) every year to visit my hub caps. ![]() ![]() |

Being a mere principality Wales is as much a part of England as Sussex or Essex so they are in fact not really Welsh but English.

Akabula is lucky their isn't a Welsh Alias on the forum or there would be meltdown ;)

"their" ? I bloody hate ignorance. Don't try and be clever son when you haven't even got a grasp on basic written English you dolt.
|
|
By:
Spent some time in Pontypridd - felt like I was in a surreal parallel universe. I've been to some strange places in England, but that place takes the biscuit.
|

By:
Slippy blue if you hate ignorance take a long look at yourself, it's fairly obvious I know the difference and sometimes make the odd mistake. It reveals far more about the person trying to pick up on such errors to score petty points than itr does about the person targeted...

In fact if you were going to be truly pedantic I probably should have said "that there isn't". I'll just leave that hanging they're

themightymac I to let it slide once, but if you are so slow that you STILL don't see that the "they're", in a meaningless pointless sentence, whose entire purpose as a sentence was obviously to include a "there", stuck at end with a the great big evil smiley beside it. Given the context ... if you can't see that was a joke, then .. well you're making a fool of yourself.

It's "I too" not "I to" Seriously boy, go back to school.

Are you 12 or an alias of someone I've somehow pissed off as like Studyform - I've not idea where this childish petty s**t is coming from? I can't believe I'm having bothering to argue with you. I'm not even sure where the "to" comes from I presumably started a sentence then hit a few backspaces and didn't delete enough. "I too let it slide" makes no sense either so I've no idea what you are correcting it "to".
Oh wait .. Alias is a great lover of the correcting of spelling mistakes, has multiple aliases, and it was directed at him. Interesting. |

Woops "having bothering", correct that, I'm out, Feck.

This forum slips into immaturity central some nights.
Now I know macs in a bad mood cos wee Nicky refused him a ride in her chopper but I'm not sure what's wrong with slippy unless he's had a torrid time with the dogs tonight. |

By:
Here come`s JC`s mentor (That`s Just Checking, not the other guy).
For your information aka, I have a chopper of my own. ![]() |

By:
I'm a good mood Aka, god knows what's up with some people on the forum tonight. Drink?
I can see why Studyform thought I'd insulted him as I posted something seconds after him, that I later realised he might read as directed at him, that was 100% unintentional. I was directing it at the idiot in the debate audience and people like him. *cough* Who are apparently studyform *cough* ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But seriously I don't just attack people. |

They'd have got more votes if Yes voters were offered free rides in helicopters.
