Min wage £8 there is jobs going about in the exam place in Edinburgh for £8.25 just now and time and a half on weekends.If i apply does anyone need me to change exam or uni results for them as i will be the data entry man.I will walk out with degrees unheard off and a few oil painting they have hanging up.

mightmac ive never seen the streets so dead with kids even playing football or anything all the pitches have been built on , that i played on even 10-15 year back and a few left to ruins

17-18 year olds vote labour turn 18 and get book tokens and sh1tty courses to do at college that you can do online for 1/4 the price if that.Or on youtube for free and at your own pace.Ive looked into a few courses and they are mostly all on youtube all you get extra is the certificate if you pay.

My mates girlfriend works in a place where they all have degrees from uni , she has a kid at 5 and does the same job after no uni or any further education.

Uni sounds fun

A Uni degree is nothing more than a badge of honour, bit like an asbo for the plebs. I don`t know anybody who got a degree at Uni and managed to find a job remotely associated with what they were studying.

Well for sure Labour are more desperate than a sailor who's just been at sea for 6 years on his first night in port at kicking out time, squirrels look pretty hot

I like that "women's studies" photo as it makes a great point but I don't think it's the one that the person with the silly degree thought it was. I realise that's the US but it could apply here, some arbitrary target by Labour of 50% of people getting degrees, and so many of them are studying for worthless sh1te who are then outraged when they end up cleaning the toilets in a call centre.

What does people with an MA in in Women's Studies and the like expect? The state to create high paying jobs just for people who did that degree because it sounded fun? Sadly I think a lot of Guardian readers with such qualifications expect just that.

But because some degrees are sh*t, doesn't make all of them. Which is my eventual point

Degrees hardly worthless. You just need to look at an upmarket jobs section to see there worth.

I've been to Glasgow twice, I had quite a nice time up there to be fair. A lot of nutters about but same as everywhere really.
