Watched the first episode but it didn't inspire me to carry on with it.

my expectations of it are probably too high, as someone who can remember that era very well I'll probably end up being annoyed by all the inevitable inaccuracies

The Safe House is typical ITV drivel drama.
The Game has been very good so far , best British drama I have seen since Line Of Duty. |

Just finished safe house last night, thought episode 1 was ok but from there on it did go steadily downhill until the end... to be honest I only kept watching for the magnificent locations, the plot was simply garbage.

I only watched the final part. My wife filled me in on what had went before.
I thought it was total cak though the scenery was magnificent. |

Yep final episode was poor. Especially closing frames, which were very odd. Sequel ?

The only show of this type I've ever watched from start to finish was Line of Duty and never again.
total unbelievable garbage of an ending. Sorry I wasted time in this as well. |

Was a shame about the ending of Line of Duty as the programmes was packed with great actors.
