Makes you proud. @TSO No need to worry as it's only tax payers that contribute and your benefits are safe. |

What have I got to be irritated about.
(notice how I avoided the laughing emoticon)I just enjoy the anger that peep get when anything to do with the Royal Family is posted. Feck all they can do about it. (I could resist no more) |
|
By:
not anger, just sadness, that people are so dumb
|

By:
Never a truer word said. Refer to my first reply to TSO then ponder on the word pilchard.

The Royal Family don't impact on my life but as an institution I think they are an asset to the UK.
The finances were a mess but recent legislation curtailed the public purse payment to the Queen and her immediate family. Given also that the Queen hands over 10 times as much from the Royal Estates income then it's not a bad deal. |

|
By:
fishing or not, some people actually queue up to wait for someone's baby to arrive, someone they don't know and have never met. that is just bizarre, and worrying
|
|
By:
![]() I think somebody needs to spell it out for TSO. ![]() @sh We all remember the country in mourning for Di. I could never get my head round that. It was sad but to grieve, sorry but no. |

How many other babies will be born on the same day? or will it just be the "royal" baby
I guess none of the other babies boron on the same day as the "royal" baby will be of any significance to anyone because the only thing that matters is the "toyal" baby ![]() ![]() im sure the parents will celbrate the "royal" baby more than they do their own baby ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

A punter has bet £10,000 that the Duchess of Cambridge will give birth to a girl.
The man, in his late 30s and from Manchester, will collect more than £15,000 in winnings, which includes his original bet, if the royal baby is a princess. Bookmakers Ladbrokes said the anonymous punter normally gambles on horse racing and football, and this is his first bet on the Royal Family. The man said: "I'm not really bothered by the royals, but I'd just had a big win and my missus reckons it's a girl, so that's a good enough reason for me." Ladbrokes set the odds of the baby, due any day now, being a girl at 8/15 and 11/8 for a boy. William and Kate's fourth wedding anniversary on Wednesday April 29 is now one of the favourite arrival dates at 4/1. Alice remains the favourite girls' name at 5/4, while Charlotte is 5/1. Arthur is the favourite boys' name at 12/1 and James has odds of 20/1. |

By:
Repuliicans wouldnt want them, clues in their name
|
|
By:
No you are wrong - they fawn over these waste of spaces!!!
If you are right then we can do a bit of beheading. Think of the boost to tourist revenue after that. |
|
By:
Oh dear. The Royal family don't actually cost that much these days and bring a lot to the country in terms of tourism.
I'm not that bothered but prefer it to a presidency. |
