Have they already been declared Not Guilty by a non-investigating police authority, and given a red carpet invite to lecture a Select Committee?

In fairness, if I lived in Slough, I'd probably be looking to move to Syria as well.

Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough!
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!

Had the pleasure of Slough being my working area for 6 months, amazed on how many people lived in sheds/garages.

When I was a sales manager Slough trading estate was on my patch, it is a truly godforsaken place but did good business there. It was a hellish journey to get there from Beckenham though where I used to live at the time.

I used to make up appointments so that I could go to Newbury races so it wasn't all bad. My boss knew that when Newbury was on I'd have a few appointments in Slough Plain

Possibly still more straightforward than the commute my mother had from the Walworth Rd in SE London to an aircraft components factory on Slough Trading Estate during WW2.

In the end she gave up and rented digs in Slough. Then after the war she married the eastern European asylum seeker who set her drill and she never returned to London.

Slough is a town brimming with exotic romance.

You are a set of killjoys. Ruining what should be a truly happy occasion. The young girl will meet her new husband for the first time and they will live as happy Muslim man and slave for the rest of her days.
This will be the happiest day of her 7-year life. So much better than being left 'on the shelf'.
As she is a virgin the bride will, of course, wear black.
