There have been two occasions in the last couple of frames during the Walden versus Dott match where its shortcomings have been clearly highlighted. The example just witnessed by the yellow and green is the worst I've seen.
What is the point in using Hawkeye when it is obviously inaccurate? I'm sure its creators will tell you that it has a tolerance of XYZ millimeters, which might be acceptable for tennis or cricket etc, but snooker is far more precise a game and such flawed software is worse than useless in my view.
