Very funny but some of us are happy.
Anyhow 25 years ago was working in penn national which was a fkn disaster with a capital f as what a kip.

Starting senior manager job in new company
Moving to new, bigger house
Wife expecting our first daughter
Life couldn't be much better.
Now :-
job gone (redundant)
Wife gone ( divorced)
House gone ( see Wife)
Beautiful daughter though, now a lovely young woman

I was on Safari in Kenya, where has that 25 years gone

25 years ago it would be 25 years to the day before I handed my notice at a job I'd got 23 years later. And what lovely weather it would turn out to be.
was working in Johannesburg during the Mandela release period. Extraordinary times out there.

Aye HH, I suppose you couldn't tell if he was going to go straight or not.
26 years ago today. Got blowed in by an easterly gale. Turned in 1330 hrs. Told the Mrs to wake me at 1545. She called me out not long after 1500 hrs.
She asked if I was going to ring my parents. I said the last thing I'm going to do is tie up a phone line to Liverpool. If I need to hear anything, I will hear it soon enough.
