Right handed people only please, as the rest of you look ridiculous whatever!

For me the only natural way is to have it rested between my first and second digits and with my thumb on top.

So many people seem to hold it clumsily, with two or three digits, and the thumb on top, which surely cannot be the ideal for good calligraphy!

Rather than bothering the mods, if you're interested just put "correct way to hold a pen" into Google and click the only picture,
and you will see the correct and obvious way, along with the most ridiculous ways.

Incredible that some of these have gone through schooling, and not been picked up!

i've found for drawing that if you hold the pencil like a hammer, it makes for a better drawing.
