People can't even abbreviate et cetera ffs.  The country is certainly not what it was.

The thing is that, of those that can abbreviate "et cetera", precious few will have been taught Latin at school.

I studied Latin at school Aunty P, I had a lovely old boy as my teacher, Mr. Cottrell who made his lessons a laugh with his wacky sense of humour. I can still see his face right now. He used to bellow out to me every lesson, "Prep for today Slippy?"

Bugsbunny. What would you use to replace religion and/or politics?
YOUR thoughts, please.

I think religion and politics should be replaced with cameras, everything we do and say should be recorded...it will make us more human.

Depression cases would drop dramatically if doctors wrote out cheques rather than prescriptions

Religion should be outlawed as a crime against common sense.
I can understand the need for it in the dark ages but not now in the modern world.
As regards politics I'd make people sit an exam before they are allowed to vote.
Haven't given much thought to the content but something must be done to save us from the 1diot voters.
(Fools nearly stuck us in it in Scotland)

Britain is now paying for the sins of the fathers, it is unlikely to become better any time soon.

Maybe not as bad as we think at times, a tolerent nation.

John Barnes will never work again as a footy manager in England, but is very confident of becoming PM in a labour govt in the future.
