How is it for you?
The last two weeks or so have been dreadful for me. About 30% of my sales are to the US and the pound is at a five year low against the dollar.
I looked on the ebay message boards (although I don't sell on ebay) and one person said it was the quietest period he'd experienced for 10 years.
Maybe the Easter holidays?

Just been reading about a bloke who's started a boat-building business in his attic room. Apparently, sails are going through the roof.
Something to do with the two week easter break? a lot of parents take their kids away for the holidays

What are you selling? Is it several items by volume or just "this and that"?
Like "left handed screwdrivers" and "buckets of blue steam" and "sky hooks"?

The point is that there has been a sudden drop in sales over the last two weeks or so
Seriously, for me, it's a bloody pain in the bum!
I have loads of stuff (collectible) from my late sister.
I have five dated "Harrods" teddy bears that are on an American site for almost £100.00 each.
I have limited editions of dolls and bears (hideous to my eyes) with one allegedly worth £400.00
and others up to £200.00.
Because they are hideous, I would bin the lot of them, but that wouldn't be right.
I hate trying to sell stuff, as only attract low life. For instance one tw@t who offered £5.00 for all of the bears.

Ebay is the place for collectors stuff
If they don't sell they're not worth your fanatical prices but buyers do know exactly what they're looking for & prices they'd be willing to pay
Obviously everybody wants a bargain though !

That's rather contrary, Aunty. You think the bears should be 'binned' and then, when somebody makes an offer for them, you call the a tw@t!

My only other thought is that by April 21, websites have to be updated to render them mobile-friendly to avoid being penalised by Google.
We made the necessary changes to our site about three weeks ago, at the same time as the decline in sales. I have checked Page rankings, items indexed in Gooogle and search results and, if anything, everything is better than before so maybe that's coincidence.

Don`t ever try selling at a car boot sale Aunty, hundred times worse. I had a clear out and was selling good stuff for virtually nothing and they still tried to haggle. e.g. top of the range Hi-Fi system (cost 900) mint condition for £20. "Will you accept a fiver" 
DVD box sets like new for £3 each. "Will you accept £1" Plus the ***** stole many items.

I was holding back on the car boot story.
Daughter and I spent most of the morning loading up her car. Off we went and not a soul in sight.
Called in the village shop to be told it was cancelled! Bloody fantastic as it was still advertised on the village website!
Not wanting to have to unload it all again we decided to go to a massive one that is on every Sunday.
Fek me, what an eye opener. The low life gypos were all over the car when I was still parking.
One tried to open the boot. "got any pottery"... I told them in language which they understood to go away.
Wish my son had been there, as they are masters of distraction, and I know some stuff went bye byes.
Amongst everything else I had a Makita circular saw. It genuinely did one cut and cost £130.00
Guy picks it up and says he's a joiner, and needs a new one as his is broken. I'm "giving it away" at £40.00 and he just walks away.
A well dressed, dripping in jewelry black woman bought a few of Gemma's things and found out she was buying for another pitch nearby.
I made sod all. Didn't even get a cheeky bid, even though we had some "Royal Doulton" and "Royal Worcester" that was from my late sister.
Gem made about £25.00 and I lost £22.00 on expenses.
Never ever, ever again!
