Staggeringly I have seen posts on this topic where people have used the stat as proof he is a poor jockey as he should have converted at least one of those to a win. Utter morons.
It is a sensational record that probably will never be replicated. Is there even another jockey who has completed the last seven nationals, let alone get placed? Hats off, amazing effort. |

It is a remarkable set of performances , simply avoiding trouble from within the field each year is some achievement. |
