Sounds rubbish. Likely to get the chop.

Absolute garage. Like wipeout without the comedy value

Well, if it's anything like the Japanese original series it'll do for me. It's not supposed to have any 'comedy value'. Far from it...but I doubt that it will be on anything like that level of difficulty.
Still, we can only hope. We'll know soon enough by how many can complete the first course. I think that only one or two men ever achieved Ninja Warrior status by completing all the challenges. One of them did it twice! ![]() |

Cannot believe people say the quality of TV is going downhill - this has got BAFTAS written all over it. Throw in some judges, say Sharon Osborne and some unknown edgy comic / singer and find a way of involving a public vote and I reckon the sky is the limit.
As you can tell - I can't wait... |

If you've got 'people trying to display Ninja skills', then it's a long way from Ninja Warrior, which spit out almost all-comers...including plenty of Olympic medal winners in gymnastics etc.
This should be a brutal competition between the challengers and the courses. Plenty beat the opening course. A few beat the second course. But nobody beat the third test, apart from, perhaps, two men. I just hope they haven't diluted it...but God knows where they'll find serious challengers in the UK. |

naydam - you sound like a fan of what sounds like a proper programme in its original form.
I'm afraid you are going to be very disappointed! This looks like members of the public trying to get across a swimming pool by bouncing on inflatables while Chris Kamara wets himself as they fall in... Bring on the Wall / Total Wipeout / Soccer Saturday / GMTV.......! |
