I like defence spending.

I just thing a strong Army, Navy and RAF equipped with modern weapons which actually work are a lot more useful against ISIS and a possible second Falklands conflict than Nukes that we simply cannot use.

If we get rid of trident, we're wide open to Putin (or anyone else for that matter) nuking a UK city purely as a warning shot to America. The yanks wouldn't nuke russia back out of fear of them doing the same to a US city so all that happens is that we've become a dispendable pawn in the 21st Century cold war. If we keep Trident, this scenario can't happen.

Nuclear weapons are a complete waste of money worldwide. Even if some nutter in power tried to launch them it wouldn`t be allowed.

When the USA struck Japan with them in 1945 the explosions were detected by Aliens of superior intelligence and thankfully they have been watching over us ever since and have even landed on Earth and disabled such weapons at Nuclear bases. Hence the significant rise in sightings of UFOs following the end of WWII. Of course it has all been covered up.
