Your suggestion for the timber merchants came up trumps for me, sir.   They have quoted £85 for the five pieces, cut and sanded to size, plus VAT and postage.  I consider it very reasonable.

This fred is knot without merit and doesn't go against the grain like many others, I saw that straight away, it was plane to see, I wood like others could be as helpful as Paris, then we can concentrate on Gamboooling instead of pineing for solutions and we can have more time on the beech, and life's rewards will dovetail nicely.............. etc, etc, etc.
