Typical liberal/man of the people type who doesn't see the irony in giving oppressive abuse towards anyone who doesn't agree with him in an effort to influence their opinion.

I can't see how calling somebody 'an idiot' would be likely to change his mind about his political direction. Quite he opposite, in fact. One would assume (well I do) that the OP is just some sort of name-calling bully type. Perhaps he is unable to accept that not everybody is required to subscribe to HIS opinion...always assuming that he actually HAS an opinion. More likely he just hurls abuse at all and sundry who support a different group...similar to football 'fans' mentality.
Report Shrewd_dude April 6, 2015 12:48 AM BST
Well said Naydam. The OP seems almost startled at the fact he has had the intellectual nous to even start such a thread, then panicked and decided to opt for aggression mode in the hope that this would get a few smileys from any other similar types who clicked on to the forum, all excited, but had to replace their sense of giddiness with agreement when they realised his killer phrase was 'see other thread'.

I was going to vote UKIP but the oppressive abuse hurled by the OP has influenced my opinion. What a w@nker.

He's convinced me. I want to do something for my country and so two things have convinced me to vote Labour. They let in millions of foreigners to "rub the right's nose in it" and they left a note when they fuccked off which said, "We've spent all the money".

Who wouldn't vote for more of that?

If you want an example of idiotic here it is:

Man 1 - Romanian, no qualifications,no bome, convictions for possession of hard drugs and GBH, no employment lined up - We say come on in here is a free coffee courtesy of Mr Vaz.

Man 2 - Australian - Lived in UK for ten years, pays 45% tax, lives in a large Dorset home that he has paid for,  married to an English woman, they have two children born in England - We say sorry mate your visa has run out your no longer allowed to live here.

That is idiotic!

Need to distinguish between 'blood and soil' patriotism (i.e racism) and civic patriotism.

I've more in common with a hard-working Polish guy who wants to better himself and his family, who sticks to our laws, than I have with a bone-idol Nazi thug who just happens to be British.
Report macarony April 7, 2015 12:26 PM BST
Its a simple choice if your happy with the direction this country has been going since for the last 40/50 years. then vote for the LabConDems.

If you have had enough and want to say no to globalization, then voting for Ukip is the first step, in might not be the second but its certainly  first.
Report Mikael D'Haguenet April 7, 2015 12:40 PM BST
How the feck would voting UKIP be saying 'no' to globalization?
Report macarony April 7, 2015 12:42 PM BST
Because you would be coming out of the EU why do you think
Report Mikael D'Haguenet April 7, 2015 12:48 PM BST
Yep, that'll stop it.

And they won't be coming out of the EU.
Report rogerthebutler April 7, 2015 12:57 PM BST
He's not saying it'd stop it - he's saying it would be the first of many steps.

In fact I think there's far-left wing parties that have the same attitude to the EC. Certainly Tony Benn was fervently anti, believing it diluted the (British) democratic process.
Report Mikael D'Haguenet April 7, 2015 1:03 PM BST
And what would the subsequent steps be?

It ain't happening.
Report macarony April 7, 2015 1:05 PM BST
The powers that be (huge multinational companies and obscene billionaires) want what they call a free market with open access to all markets and countries, this is a classic case of something that looks good on paper, but for all but a select few the reality is the complete opposite.
Just look at the majority of finished goods on sale in the world today including the EU, made by people in appalling conditions for slave wages, in developing countries.
If this is kind of world you want then continue to vote for the LabConDems.
Report Mikael D'Haguenet April 7, 2015 1:06 PM BST
Tony Benn was beloved MP for my hometown. It's nice that he had at least one policy that you lot approved of. He was a loony-leftie on everything else, obviously.
Report macarony April 7, 2015 1:19 PM BST
He once said that Britain is a small country that needs to make ans sell things to the rest of the world in order to pay our bills.

Nowt wrong with that IMO
Report rogerthebutler April 7, 2015 6:08 PM BST
And what would the subsequent steps be?

Well given international monopoly capitalism has run pretty much unfettered since the end of World War Two, of course it's not going to re-evaluate it's approach to market overnight. That would have to come from a change in demand from individuals. Individuals affect markets and that's what big companies take into account.

Don't buy Macdonalds, Gap, Starbucks etc might be a start.

A clown and closet racist signing in Happy

Our country has been royally f****d by the liberals for far too long.

The multi cultural bollox has led to British kids going to Syria to chop peoples' heads off and Europeans taking jobs and housing from our young.

Our identity and culture has been castrated by the lefties who hate this nation and want us all to be ashamed of who we are.

If Blair is all for it I'm agin it with a passion (apologies to John Prescott of NE assembly fame). This man has boosted UKIP's election chances by an order of magnitude. If he had been able to pursue his goal of President of EU, a self serving position gained by selling out UK, he would have had NATO bombing Russia with all the consequences.
